Editing

I did a shoot for the live brief which is currently ongoing. The image was of Slinkachu images which were photographed very close. Unfortunately, imperfections were noticeable such as white specks in the background, dark blotches on the female presenters legs and imperfections in on the table-all needed removing or masking with Photoshop. The cloning stamp tool was used to replicate some of the background and foreground-so the image could be cropped.

1, The legs, I used the healing brush.

2 Background-Paint tool

3 Table-Healing Brush.

4 Levelled the image and made it straight.

The results was great with all imperfections gone.

Also, the finished image was cropped and make to 12x12 inches in length and diameter. It was also make into a TIFF image by using the SAVE AS feature on Windows and using the dropdown box of options such as JPEG,RAW,TIF,TIFF etc. Also, the tone of the image was changed as seen above. The bottom image is brighter.

As stated previously, a very handy tool for hiding imperfections and creating the desired affect that is required for an image. The resizing makes an image shot in landscape now fit an album cover if needed by the client.
