Today we were given an image that had an area that was blank and needed to be filled in with parts of the image which was below.
Here we used the clone stamp tool to give a manipulated (but affective) image where the trees and foliage didn't just end as they did on the left of the example.
As the image above shows, all the area is covered instead of a partial covering. This application has a definite use of covering up mistakes that otherwise would be obvious to the viewer. However, in terms of it being a true reflection of what we see, it is manipulated and we need to look very carefully for areas that tell us it is manipulated.
