Changing images from colour to black and white

 Today we taken a selection of our own images and examples and made changes to their overall colour- to black and white.

The usefulness of this application is seen everywhere. For example, in creating a vintage effect in contemporary images taken today. 

We spoke in the lesson of how the media reports in the war in the Ukraine have shown victims of the war having their colour graded down so they look more desperate to western audiences. This manipulation is something that needs to be taken into account.
