Cloning tool

 I did a shoot some weeks ago in the studio for one of the design elements for the Photography degree I am involved with. I brought a whale in which was made from clear blue glass to reinforce that I understand this design element. A tutor suggested I place the whale 🐳 on a bottle so it stands out and it is raised from the anarchists flag I was using as a background.

The bottle was long and thin and did the job of raising the whale and acted like a plinth. Unfortunately, I had the bottle neck on display when zi completed the shoot.

However, tonight I tried the cloning tool on Photoshop. This removed the unsightly bottle top and replaced it was a blue fin belonging to the porpoise. This application made a difference and made the whale look like it flitted in perfectly to the environment. Top example after edit. Bottom, before edit.
